    Located in Raquette Lake. For more than 50 years, Sagamore served as the summer retreat of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt family. Sagamore tours are usually at 10:00 AM and 1:30PM. Reservations for tours are recommended.

    Located in Old Forge. Be dazzled by spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and lakes when you take the 10 minute trip to the top of the mountain.   • Rocky Mountain

    0.5 Miles, 15 minutes, walk to it from Harvey’s

  • Bald Mountain

    1 Mile, 30-40 minutes, offering excellent views of the Fulton Chain of Lakes along with historic fire tower

  • Cascade Lake

    Hiking, canoeing, waterfall, camping, swimming, fishing. 4.6 mile round trip, 2.5 hours. Easy grades. Take Big Moose Rd. from Eagle Bay nine-tenths of a mile. Parking area on right. Scenic trail, nice waterfall on north end of trail.

  • Fly Pond

    Directly across Rondaxe Rd. from Bald Mt. Parking area. Eight-tenths of a mile hike. 30 minutes. Level. Leads past Fly Pond, Carry Mountain Pond, old bed of Raquette Lake Railway, Scenic Mountain, and Mountain Pond.

  • Black Bear Mountain

    2.1 miles, steep and difficult but the view is worth it.

  • Self Guided Nature Trail

    Located inside Limekiln Lake State Campsite, 1.5 miles, you must pay state day use fee
